seriously, z-link works very well. All the tests I have done with the MFT there is no delay I can detect, doesn't matter how fast you swing over multiple targets.

I am using headphones designed specifically for detecting, and hearing the minelab whispers as they put it, by link technologies who do minelab upgrades here in aus. They are very light and have very good tone. They are also noise cancelling, however you get a background hiss when it is switched on due to amp conflicts. If windy or noisy I just use headphones without z-link.

Yes strange that the B5 has it built in and the Sig and Sorex does not.

B-5's wireless transmitter is an additional module integrated into control box. The same could be done with Piligrim 47 once software (yet released) is ready for that option

I am on the verg of buying the Z-Link for my sorex. It has been getting very good reviews. Costs a bit more, but battery life is great.

I have been using the z-link for about 6 months Rew, even on my minelab chasing gold. Been excellent. Have deteknix as well but z-link is much better.

That is odd because I see used Z links for sale often but I never see used Deteknix for sale. I was thinking that z links weren't as good from that statistic but now I know differently. Thank you.

I like the Deteknix system.I bought the phones for my deus puck.I liked them so well I bought the wireless set for my Aka machines.I'd buy the firs half dozen used sets that came up so I wouldn't have to keep switching to a different machine with the same set.
