Me personally, I think it's very important to have different size coils in different kHz to take with you.
It can make a bad situation turn good.

I like to hunt with the 10" 14khz coil and the 9"×12" 7khz.
I have larger 15" coils in 3khz and a smaller coil in 20khz.
My little coil of joy is an 8" 3 frequency coil. It really is a pleasure to use, especially on more contaminated sites.

    What are you using???

I mainly use 9.5x11.5@7Khz, the factory coil, since it is the freq that I have used for years in my other detectors and I am used to VDI.
The 13 @ 3khz has a broken ear, I have to repair it, and double9 @ 14khz I have used it very little, it is only valid for coins and that is not my thing.

    9x12 @ 7khz owns

2F 15"@12 kHz, 16 kHz I'm going to order soon. This coil will be used in damp conditions (spring) and in reconnaissances.
13"@18 kHz is for fields and places those produce finds
8"@3 kHz, 7 kHz and 20 kHz is for trashy sites

Special task coil used rarely is 18"@3 kHz

I mainly use the MARS sniper coil 10x6 inch 5 and 12 khz.
Also have the stock 9.5x11.5 inch 7khz coil and a 10x11 inch 15 khz coil

the three-frequency coil 3, 14 & 18 before it broke was the best ever. precise and reliable. currently uses the 14 khz, 9.5x12.5. Good for coins.
