Yesterday I found a really difficult terrain on which to balance the Signum.
I tried several times in ground balance, but the metal detector always gave me infinite signals.
Soil dry, GS at 13-15 then extra light.
Numerous false signals .... I had to lower ST to 9.
Are there tricks with extra-light terrain?

it's not easy. the gain, if I lower it too much does not feel the ground

ST on high, Gain on lower.
    And don't be greedy

if you lower the gain excessively, the signum can not billet. It does not detect the terrain. If I hold it high, I have a lot of false signals,

The disease you have is very common for AKA hunters ;).
In GB mode find A-Gain position when "sign of eternity" transforms into line, this is most possible Gain for particular ground condition.

unfortunately the translator does not help me. that's not a problem for me , metallize with low gain. if the ground is ultralight, balancing is difficult with low gain. I found an old thread on this forum that proposes to balance on red brick

Have you checked GB Guide in section "Knowledge Base"? GBing on light and extra light grounds is revealed there.

I have a few grounds with very clean river sand that used to the foundation for some old farms.. Its hard for me to get the GB line across the both vertical lines as well.. What I always do on those sites is not a normal GB but I just pump it very quickly and close to the ground, often that will grab a GB.

I think the best way is to balance manually. It seems to be a ground similar to what I found

My ground is always GS 9 to 15 , only way to GB is with coil touching ground or manually

tonight I have to try to balance the signun almost touching the ground. balancing manually. I get one first horizontal line then a second parallel placed above or below ....

yesterday I returned to that damn land, nothing to do. much worse than before, when I used the 12 hkz plate. I lowered the gain, I put it in economy mode, but I had no results

Yesterday I checked the gain-gain and the ST sensitivity to Signum ... at a range of 50 eurocent .. Size Gain Adjusts the size of the terrain mineralization ... High frequencies in the high terrain mineralization will have a more problem with High Gain setting.

Today I tried the 7 Khz coil on the field that I told you about. The coil seemed much less precise on the signal, especially to locate the target by playing either too far to the right or too far to the left .... never where the target was really positioned.
I reassembled the 14 Khz, but I always find it very difficult to balance on this field.
I also tried three new features (for me)
    1) to change the frequency of the Signum
    2) lower the Volume ws to very low values
    3) try the Deep mode 5 seconds (but I didn't know what I was doing)

    1) If I move the frequency the Signum seems much calmer ..... but is it less powerful? can you explain to me what happens?
    2) lower the Volume Ws what it produces ??
    3) could you give me some indication to start studying the Deep mode.

    Check these threads:
Do not forget to switch economy mode on at bad grounds!

The lower WS Volume, the more quiet tiny signals will be. WS Volume is just a sound setting

Check the article: "DEEP Mode (Signum MFD) Guide"

Use low frequency (3 kHz) on sites where 7 kHz and 14 kHz produce false signals
